Indictment: 5 detectives attacked detainees

The police's internal affairs division has filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv Magistrate Court against five police detectives from the Givaataim police's investigation department. The five are accused of beating citizens they were holding in custody.
According to the indictment, the detectives, among them the department's senior officer, attacked the remanded citizens while the latter were handcuffed. The attacks were revealed as part of an undercover internal investigation. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
