Fragmentation grenade found on body of Syrian evacuated to Israel

A fragmentation grenade was found in a vest pocket of one of the injured Syrian civilians who were evacuated to receive medical care in the Ziv Medical Center in Safed. The ward where the Syrian man was hospitalized was evacuated and sappers were called to the scene.
The Syrian was brought for medical care in Israel, together with another Syrian citizen, earlier Thursday. Both were injured in Syrian battles near the border. (Yoav Zitun)
