UN Security Council condemns fighting near Quneitra

The UN Security Council strongly condemned fighting between the Syrian army and rebel forces near the border crossing at Quneitra in the Golan Heights, which resulted in the injury of two UN observers.

The Council demanded that the two sides respect the presence of the observers in the region, cooperate with them, allow them to operate freely and ensure their safety. (AFP)
