Fire near Hamat Gader – arson
The Fire Department investigation into a fire that broke out on Wednesday near Hamat Gader found it was the result of arson. The fire in the southern Golan Heights burned thousands of acres of pasture, and two hundred people were evacuated from the site.
More than seven teams worked to extinguish the fire, with the assistance of four aircraft. (Maor Buchnik)
