Yachimovich at Pride Parade: Demand real things

Opposition leader Shelly Yachimovich said at Tel Aviv’s Pride Parade, “Gay, lesbian, trans, bi, queer, I love you, I am committed to you irrespective of politics and time. Here on stage, there were and there will be amazing political representation unlike anything before, by politicians who are gay friendly from the bottom of their hearts. This is unprecedented. But there is a great 'but.' It is not enough to say they love you. Don’t let us off the hook – demand real things."

She added, "The struggle of the (LGBT) community has become a measurement of global enlightenment." (Shahar Chai)
