Man suspected of beating, kidnapping new wife

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion that during the last two weeks of beating and locking up his new wife after their relations went sour. He was arrested together with his wife while attempting to file a complaint against his wife. The two confronted the police and were then arrested.
The couple was wed a month ago, but things went sour after the man's jealous side was exposed. After returning home to find his wife on the phone with another man, he beat her and locked her up. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
