MK hopes deputy Bank of Israel governor will replace Fischer

Chairman of the Economics Committee Knesset Member Avishay Braverman expressed his support in appointing Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel, Dr. Karnit Flug, as retiring Stanley Fischer's successor.
During a committee meeting, Braverman thanked Fischer for his service to Israel and added: "I do not know many economists that have the quiet intensity and the experience that Dr. Flug has. I hope that soon she will be awarded the appropriate role for her and for us." (Zvi Lavi)
