Netanyahu: 'No' American request to freeze settlement construction

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the Likud factional meeting that "construction in Judea and Samaria has no effect on the peace settlement." Deputy Minister of Transportation Tzipi Hotovely asked Netanyahu whether there was a US request to freeze settlement construction, to which the prime minister replied in the negative.
Netanyahu also said his party members "should remain vigilant lest the coalition fall apart. Once you start drilling holes, the ship sinks." (Moran Azulay)
