MK Yisrael Eichler (United Torah Judaism) referred to the death of author Yoram Kaniuk during discussions on a proposed bill requiring female representation on the Electoral Committee.
"When I hear that a man who had declared himself an atheist and who was married to a non-Jewish woman died this week, and the Culture Minister of the Likud eulogizes the great loss of this Jew hater, is this a Jewish state?" Eichler said. (Moran Azulay)
