Reformist candidate drops out of Iran presidential race

The official website of the reformist Iranian presidential candidate Mohammad Reza Aref withdrew himself from Iran's presidential race, leaving Hassan Rohani the sole representative of the moderate camp.

Reza said the leader of the reform movement Mohammad Khatami told him that quitting from the presidential race was in the movement's best interests. (AFP)
