Gal-On slams Eichler for Kaniuk comments

Meretz Chairwoman Zahava Gal-On said MK Israel Eichler (United Torah Judaism) was "arrogant, repulsive and unworthy of his place among the lawmakers."

Gal-On's diatribe came on the heels of Eichler's remarks regarding the recently deceased author Yoram Kaniuk, whom he branded a "Jew-hater," implying that his death was not a cause for mourning. (Moran Azulay)
