LGBT group: Arrested activist helped thousands over the years

The Israeli National LGBT Task Force said the activist who was arrested in connection with the deadly 2009 shooting at a gay youth center in Tel Aviv "has helped thousands of LGBT teenagers and adults during his 20 years of volunteer work."
Police suspect the activist knew the identity of the shooter but kept it to himself. (Ynet)
