Commissioner: No more police press conferences

Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino ordered that a team be appointed to investigate the conduct of police in Monday’s press conference, which revealed details about the Barnoar shootings, even as the court was deciding on a gag order.
In a note sent to officers, the commissioner wrote, "The press conference held yesterday in the Tel Aviv was contrary to past instructions, and because things might not have been clear enough, I make it understood in no uncertain terms that the Israeli Police will not hold another press conference at all, especially in ongoing investigations with high sensitivity."
