PA official: Our only precondition is talks based on 1967 borders
Palestinian Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habash said in a meeting with Israeli reporters in Ramallah that should Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declare he is ready to resume talks based on the 1967 borders, the Palestinians would return to the negotiating table. "We have no other preconditions," he said. "Give us some assurance that (the talks) won't fail. If we fail this time, there will be no more talks."
Al-Habash added that Israel's planned changes in the Temple Mount are unacceptable. (Attila Somfalvi)
