Officials: Assad used chemical weapons against rebels
Syria has used chemical weapons against opposition forces, officials from the United States and Europe have concluded, according to a New York Times report on Thursday.
The White House, which had no immediate comment on the report, is slated to discuss the crisis in Syria with journalists at 5:00 pm ET (2100 GMT). (Reuters)
