Ya'alon calls Arab League offer 'spin'; fellow minister dismayed

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon claimed in the Washington Institute in the US that the Arab League's initiative is a spin, added that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to renewed negotiations with no preconditions and dictations, and called the initiative a dictation.
Minister of Science Yaakov Peri responded to Ya'alon's statement and said: "These sort of statements only take us further away from the negotiating table. The Arab League's peace initiative is one of the main options under consideration. It's our duty to seriously evaluate it instead of dismissing it offhand. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Attila Somfalvi)
