Iran: 76% of votes counted, moderate Rohani in the lead

According to 76% of the votes in the Iranian presidential elections, the moderate candidate Hassan Rohani continues to lead the race with 50.8% of the votes. Nearest rival is Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf with 15.6% of the votes.
If Rohani stays above 50% of the final results, he would officially win the race and avoid a second round of elections. (AFP)
