Outgoing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated his successor Hassan Rohani, who was elected Saturday as the Islamic Republic's 11th president after a single round of voting.
"We must trust and believe in the Iranian people and honor their different interests and wishes," said Ahmadinejad, Iranian Press TV reported. (Ynet)
