Indictment filed against man for matricide

An indictment has been filed with Haifa's District Court against Roi Ohana, 28 from Kiryat Motzkin, for allegedly murdering his mother and attempting to murder his girlfriend about three weeks ago in Kiryat Ata.

According to the indictment, Ohana took a dagger from a storeroom in his mother's house, called his girlfriend to the room and stabbed her. His mother heard the girlfriend's cries and Ohana stabbed the mother once in her belly and killed her. Later, the accused ran away and stabbed two other people. (Ahiya Raved)
