Justice Minister Tzipi Livni announced the civil union bill will not go up for vote during Sunday's government meeting. Livni said this was decided upon following requests from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a number of factions.
Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid said earlier they will only support Hatnua MK Meir Shitrit's civil union bill if it applies to single-sex couples. (Moran Azulay)
