Lapid: Budget aimed at closing socio-economic gaps

None

Finance Minister Yair Lapid said the state budget, due to go up for voting at the Knesset on Monday, is aimed to "minimizing the gaps between social strata, increasing the participation of citizens in the job market, equal distribution of the burden and letting go of the culture of welfare and introducing a culture of labor."

Lapid also said he wants Israel to be a state defined by successful entrepreneurs, and is willing to harness the nation's innate creativity to that end. (Moran Azulay)
