Economy Minister Naftali Bennett met with Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav and promised him to represent Haifa's interests in the government in relation to the establishment of a new private port.
Yahav, who is competing with the Ashdod Municipality for the establishment of a port, claimed in the meeting, "A private port in Haifa will save Zionism while a port in Ashdod is a political backroom deal." (Ahiya Raved)
