Man pommels luxury Mercedes with road sign 'to check alarm'

A 56-year-old man from Herzliya was arrested for allegedly causing heavy damage to a luxury Mercedes car parked in Raanana.
Residents who notified the police reported the suspect tore a nearby road sign and used it to pommel the car. The man was arrested, and claimed in his interrogation that he was merely checking to see if the car's alarm was operational. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
