Syrian rebel chief: New weapons might tip scales

Free Syrian Army commander Gen. Salim Idris said the insurgent forces received a shipment of weapons that "might change the situation on the ground." Idris added no further details regarding the munitions.
The announcement comes on the heels of reports claiming Syrian rebels were handed advanced weapons including anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles by several Gulf States, chiefly Saudi Arabia. (Roi Kais)
