Man drowns in water hole in attempt to retrieve kids' ball

A 32-year-old man who was hiking with his children near the Tkoa settlement in the West Bank drowned to death in a water hole a few meters deep.
Police related that the man descended into the hole to retrieve a ball his children were playing with. He did not answer his children's call, and a passerby noticed them and alerted the police, which searched the water and found the body. (Itamar Fleishman, Raanan Ben-Zur)
