UN commission: Arming Syrians leads to war crimes

The head of the commission investigating human rights abuses in Syria is warning that sending arms to either side of the bloody conflict could lead to more war crimes.

Paulo Pinheiro stopped short Friday of directly criticizing the United States or other nations arming Syrians. But his comments came about a week after President Barack Obama authorized sending weapons to Syrian rebels for the first time. (AP)
