Thousands return to protest in Istanbul's Taksim Square

Thousands of protesters gathered in Istanbul's Taksim Square to protest against Turkey's police forces who violently evacuated protesters from the nearby Gezi Park last week.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and said the fight will continue. According to reports, the three-week Turkish protests have claimed the lives of five people and wounded nearly 10,000 people. (AFP)
