Report: Abbas accepts Palestinian PM's resignation

A high official in the Palestinian Authority said that President Mahmoud Abbas accepted Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah's resignation. According to the official, Hamdallah resigned due to disputes with two of his deputies.
On Saturday it was reported that Hamdallah retracted his resignation after meeting with Abbas for two hours in his Ramallah office. (AFP)
