MKs Rivlin, Yachimovich to petition High Court on gas question

MK Reuven Rivlin (Likud) and Opposition Chairwoman MK Shelly Yachimovich (Labor) will petition together the High Court of Justice with a demand to bring the gas export question to a Knesset vote.
According to Rivlin, "The natural gas issue has significant implications for Israel's economic and social strength in the coming decades, and therefore the Knesset must hold the necessary public debate." Rivlin stressed that the petition does not refer to his own opinion as to the gas question. (Moran Azulay)
