Finance Minister Yair Lapid in a party meeting referred to the appointment of Professor Jacob A. Frenkel to the position of Bank of Israel Governor, "He is my neighbor and my friend as well, so protesters can catch both of us together."
Lapid also mentioned the rocket fire from Gaza tonight, "We know that Hamas did not fire, but it is the one in charge on the ground. Israel is responsible for security of the area and we have no intention of sitting still when southern residents are being bombarded." (Moran Azulay)
