MK Horowitz: TA sees small businesses as cash cow

MK Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz), who will run for mayor of Tel Aviv in the next elections, referred to the decision of the Supreme Court requiring the municipality to enforce closing of supermarket chains that operate on Shabbat.

"This decision exposed the unacceptable policy of the Tel Aviv municipality that treats residents and small businesses as cash cows," Horowitz said. "The present situation in which the municipality does not enforce its own laws and profits from the situation cannot continue." (Moran Azulay)
