Egypt military source: Rocket explodes in central Sinai
Palestinian news agency Maan reported on Tuesday that an Egyptian military source said a rocket had landed in a desert area of central Sinai earlier in the day. According to the source, the rocket has a range of 50 km and it fell east of the Suez Canal without causing damage or casualties.
The source did not rule out the possibility that the rocket was launched as part of the training of armed groups in the Sinai. (Roi Kais)
