Egypt: 4 'Mossad men' charged with espionage
None
Egyptian media outlets have reported that Egyptian officials have decided to prosecute – apparently in absentia – four Israeli intelligence officers, three Israeli Arabs and two Egyptian citizens for their role in an alleged Israeli spy-ring. Some of the reports claimed that the four Israelis were "Mossad men." Israel denies any knowledge of the incident.
Egypt claims the ring was involved in transferring information regarding security arrangements and positions in Sinai to the Israeli defense establishment. (Roi Kais and Attila Somfalvi)
