Court orders police to uncuff wounded detainee

The Petah Tikva Magistrate Court instructed the police to uncuff a detainee currently in serious condition and chained to his hospital bed in the Rabin Medical Center.
The wounded man is suspected of crashing his car into a police vehicle, causing three officers to sustain light injuries. The hospital also demanded the man be uncuffed, saying that the current situation was "inhumane and illegal." (Raanan Ben-Zur)
