Man charged with negligently causing rabbi's death

None

An indictment has been filed with the Petah Tikva Traffic Court against Mohammed Uda, 66, from Qalansawe who negligently caused the death of Rabbi Nissan Shalom from the settlement of Elon Moreh in a car accident last April.

The indictment suggests that Uda, who did not keep sufficient distance from a truck driving ahead of him, crashed into a wall after the truck driver pulled the brakes. Uda's truck then swerved back into thd road and crashed into Shalom's private vehicle. Shalom was killed on the spot. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
