Bereaved parents to PM: Don't release murderers

None

Galia and Eli Tamam, parents of soldier Moshe Tamam who was kidnapped and murdered in 1984 by terrorists, sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requesting not to release their son's murderers as a tribute to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The bereaved parents' letter read: "Releasing murderers now in order to just meet with Mahmoud Abbas face to face is unreasonable, inappropriate and lacks judgment." (Raanan Ben-Zur)
