Egyptian protesters demand Morsi resignation by Tuesday

None

The rebel movement behind Egyptian protests against President Mohammed Morsi issued a statement Sunday night that if the president would not leave power by Tuesday at 5 pm, they will call on the masses to strike civil disobedience to "fulfill the will of the Egyptian people."

In addition, the movement said that if the president disobeys the ultimatum, it will order masses to raid Morsi's situation room in the Presidential Palace, from which he monitors the demonstrations. According to the movement, the purpose of the ultimatum is for national institutions to start preparing for reelections. (Roi Kais)
