The Knesset approved second and third readings of the bill for the participation of public sector workers in stabilizing the country’s fiscal situation. The law approved a cut of 1% to the wages of MKs, instead of the 10% initially suggested by the Yisrael Beiteinu faction.
The bill also states that the extra 1% salary addition stipulated in the collective agreement will be given to employees on January 1, 2015, instead of on July 1, 2013. (Moran Azulay)
