Strong earthquake hits Indonesia's Aceh province

A strong earthquake has struck off Indonesia's Aceh province on the western tip of Sumatra island. There are no immediate reports of damages of casualties.
The US Geological Survey says Tuesday's magnitude 6.1 quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles) and its epicenter was located 55 kilometers (34 miles) west of the town of Bireun. (AP)
