Egypt: 3 more ministers resign

The Turkish news agency Anatolia reported that Egypt's oil minister, finance minister and planning minister have presented their resignation. At the same time, a senior official denied the reports of Prime Minister Hisham Qandil's resignation in an interview for the Al-Ahram paper.

Al-Ahram also reported that senior officials of the Muslim Brotherhood movement met on Monday but have yet to decide the steps to be taken in light of recent developments. According to the report, different factions within the movement were at loggerheads regarding the possibility of holding a referendum on the question of new elections. (Roi Kais)
