Unknown parties hung posters in front of the home of a police officer claimed to have assaulted two female demonstrators during a protest in front of Finance Minister Yair Lapid's house on Saturday evening. The posters showed the officer's name and photograph.
Chief of Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino said that the demonstrators' complaints have been brought to Internal Affairs, but clarified that he "will not accept the attempt to convict without a hearing and publicly defame Israeli police officers." (Gilad Morag)
