Report: Egyptian army considering 3 alternatives to Morsi rule
None
The al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper quoted Egyptian army and civilian elements as saying that the military is considering three options in an effort to find a road map for the post-Morsi era.
The first option will see the president of the constitutional court being made in charge during the transition period with the help of a national council comprised of army and government officials. Another option is to have the Higher Military Council running the state, or a presidential council with both military and civilian elements taking charge. (Roi Kais)
