Egypt report: Army deploys around Egypt

The Al-Ahram website reported that Egyptian army forces are deploying in Cairo to stand between Morsi supporters in the Rabaa al-Adwaya mosque and the anti-Morsi protestors, spread in front of the Presidential Guard headquarters. Army forces have also deployed in other cities.

At the same time a source close to Morsi told Egyptian media that the president told the army he is working to prevent bloodshed both within his supporters' ranks and in the ranks of the protestors.
