State requests court to discuss gas export by end of month

None

The State responded to the High Court of Justice in regards to the petitions filed against the government's decision to accept the findings of the Tzemach Committee, which decided that 40% of Israel's gas would be exported.

The State explained that the petitions would be dismissed due to lack of grounds for court intervention in the government's decision. In addition, the State requested to hold an urgent hearing by the end of the month since the Israeli economy urgently needs the new gas deposits and any delay would cause great losses.
