Egyptian Salafi leader disqualified from elections arrested
Arab-language Sky News reported that Salafi leader Hazem Salah Abu Ismail, who was disqualified from the Egyptian presidential elections in the past, was arrested.
Abu Ismail's arrest is part of an arrests campaign run by the military and defense forces against senior officials of the Islamist camp in the country. Earlier Thursday, several Muslim Brotherhood officials were arrested, including the organization's spiritual leader. (Roi Kais)
