France, Italy reject Snowden's asylum request

The French Interior Ministry announced that former US spy agency contractor Edward Snowden's application for asylum has been rejected.
Earlier Thursday Italy's foreign minister announced to parliament that her country has also denied Snowden's asylum request, joining Germany, India and Poland among other countries. (AFP)
