18-year-old suspected of stealing deceased friend's phone

An 18-year-old girl from Rosh Ha'ayin area was arrested in suspicion of stealing a mobile phone that belonged to her friend, who passed away a few days earlier. It is suspected the girl came to comfort the family and stole the phone from the deceased girl's bedroom.
Following a complaint filed by the late girl's parents, police launched an investigation and arrived at the suspect's home, where they found the mobile phone. Investigation revealed that the suspect erased all photos from the stolen phone, including photos take shortly before the owner's death. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
