Minister Sa'ar: Extending service for women increases inequality

Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar criticized the extension of military service for women to 28 months and said it increases inequality between women who serve in the IDF and those who don't.
"The demographic base of women who serve in the IDF is shrinking and it's not right to extend their service," he said. The minister added that he hopes the issue will be reopened during the legislation process or by 2015, when the bill will be put into action. (Omri Efraim)
