Egypt: El-Baradei calls Brotherhood to participate in political future

Mohamed el-Baradei called on the Muslim Brotherhood to be part of Egypt's political future. He told the German Der Spiegel newspaper that there is no need to treat the Islamic movement as criminals. He added: "A man shouldn't be put on trial with no reason. Morsi should be treated with respect."
El-Baradei estimated that new elections will be held in a year. On Saturday it was reported that interim President Adli Mansour tapped el-Baradei to form the new government. (AFP)
