Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and head of the National Labor Union Ofer Eini held an hour-long meeting Sunday. The two agreed that the director-general of the Prime Minister's Bureau, Harel Locker, and head of the Union's professional unions division, Avi Nissencorn, will meet to come to reach understandings regarding the situation of the Israeli economy.
The meetings where held after Eini threatened to shutdown the public sector through a strike in response to the government's plan to build two new sea-ports and on-going "attempts to harm organized labor." (Billie Frenkel, Shahar Chai)
